Northpine ("Northpine", "we", "the app") is a social media publishing and analytics tool operated by Secrette LLC. It lets a person connect social media accounts that they own or are authorised to manage, publish and schedule video content to those accounts, view performance analytics, and read and reply to comments on their own posts. This policy explains what we access, why, and how long we keep it.
Northpine only ever acts on accounts you have explicitly connected through the relevant platform's own official authorisation screen (for TikTok, TikTok Login Kit). We never ask for, see, or store your social media passwords. You choose which permissions to grant at that screen, and you can withdraw them at any time.
When you connect a TikTok account, and only with the permissions you approve, we access:
user.info.basic, user.info.profile) — your open ID, display name, username and avatar, so the dashboard can show you which account you are posting to.user.info.stats) — follower, following, like and video counts, shown to you as analytics.video.list) — the videos on your account with their view, like, comment and share counts, shown to you as analytics.video.upload, video.publish) — permission to upload and publish video content that you provide and instruct us to post to your own account, either immediately or at a time you schedule.We request equivalent permissions on the other platforms Northpine supports (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Threads) for the same purposes.
When you upload a video or image to publish, we store that file only as long as needed to transfer it to the destination platform and to complete any schedule you set, after which it is deleted. We store a record of what was published, when, to which account, and the post identifier the platform returned, so the dashboard can show your history and report analytics against it. We never publish, edit or delete anything on your accounts that you did not instruct us to. Northpine does not post on its own initiative, and does not post promotional or third-party content to your accounts.
We use this information solely to provide the service to you: to publish and schedule the content you submit, to display analytics for your own accounts, and to let you read and reply to comments on your own posts. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to make API calls on your behalf. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure, which acts as our hosting provider. Each user's data is stored separately and is accessible only to that user's own account. We keep your data for as long as your account is connected. When you disconnect an account, its tokens are deleted and we stop accessing that platform immediately.
We do not access your private messages or contacts, we do not access payment card information, and we do not access data belonging to accounts you have not connected.
Northpine is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the minimum age required by the platforms they connect.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified in the app.
